Lori (N. 13)

This limited edition graphic silkscreen was released in July, 1982. There were 90 signed/numbered, 15 Artist Proofs and 3 printers proofs. She stands 36” tall x 29.5” wide. Images online don’t do her justice! She was a favorite of mine in my bedroom for years! 

 . . . Also included here is the mixed media on board titled “Girl in Yellow Shirt” by Heritage, which previously sold at auction. The board image was published in the Playboy Advisor the same release month in the July 1982 issue.

The board is 18” x 13.” Included here is also a a rare large pencil on board drawing. . . .

The model for “Lori” is blonde actress Lori Sutton who had begun her film career in the early 80s with small parts, one in which she was perfectly cast as a Playboy playmate in “Fast Times at Ridgemont High” in 1982. Here is a photo of Lori (on right) with Sean Penn from the movie.

 I’ve also included a video screenshot from the actual photo shoot which appeared on a Nagel DVD video which was released years ago by Todd Bingham. Todd, Patrick’s friend called Lori “A very spicy image, Lori was pivotal in terms of the direction Pat’s work began to take much less decorative much more steamy and sensual.” Steamy indeed! . . . .
